Lamont Colucci
Lamont Colucci, internationally known university educator, lecturer, and former diplomat with
the U.S. State Department, has taught university classes on a wide variety of
topics including international relations, international law and American foreign
policy, and Area studies such as east Asia, Europe, and Russia. He is considered
an expert on foreign policy, security issues, history, and current events,
particularly as they pertain to China, Korea, Japan, Europe, and Russia.
Colucci is also
considered an expert on international terrorism, military/security issues,
intelligence, and international trade.
Colucci is also a
consultant with the Gerson Lehrman Group Councils (GLG), an industry-focused
global network of distinguished world leaders from various areas of
expertise including foreign policy, business, medicine, law, science, and
engineering.
Lamont was also an American delegation leader to Japan on historical issues and
also received a scholarship to Korea to work on security issues before joining
the diplomatic corps for the State Department. Colucci has also completed a
number of fellowship and scholarship research projects including the
Modernization of the Peoples Liberation Army of China and the Security Treaty
between the United States and Japan.
