Laurie Sayles is an author, change agent, thought leader, serial entrepreneur, and the President & CEO of Civility Management Solutions (CivilityMS), a professional consulting firm for government and commercial contracting.
Formed in 2012 and based in Prince George’s County, MD, CivilityMS has provided a variety of professional services, including project, program, financial, and grants management; training and conference logistics; and administrative support to federal, state, and local government agencies and entities in and around the Washington, D.C – Baltimore metropolitan areas. “During the time I served in the United States Marine Corps I began living a bi-sexual lifestyle. However, this sexual behavior led me to leave the Corps to prevent from being caught and released with an unhonorable discharge. That led to me living a life like I was a dude, but yet, of course I wasn't and yet I thought "I was born this way." Well, yes, my flesh enjoyed, but one day after attending a catholic service given by two priests that were gay ... my heart was pierced and I began to change. My desires for the woman I referred to as my wife slowly faded and I made the decision to leave the lifestyle with hopes of marrying a man and having children. Now, I was fast approaching 40 years of age at this point and the man that I loved during my years of serving and in my 20's I discarded him to find a woman that wanted marriage and kids. Well, we never disconnected and we both have failed in previous marriages. As of this year, we have come back together for us to be married and stay together for the remaining years of our life."
