Topics: Business Ethics, Entrepreneurial Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Ethical Leadership
Unlocking the Positive Value of Ethics
Every business issue we face has an ethical dilemma at its core. Now more than ever these ethical dilemmas can happen at any level, in any organization, at any time. Ignoring these issues can be enormously costly. In this gamified team-based program we create a working model of ethics with protocols for defining ethics, expectations and practical, positive ethical behavior.
We will show you how to unlock the positive value of ethics and create a more positive culture that achieves better results and helps you hire and retain more workers. Our program engages participants in working together to experience how business ethics intensely impacts everyone from leaders to staff to vendors and clients. You will have the chance to practice solving real life business and ethical dilemmas that can and do get in the way of success.
You will also strengthen team building, communication, critical thinking and decision-making skills as we discuss scenarios coordinated with your code of conduct, new policies and continuing professional development requirements.
Demystifying Your Financials
The Power of Knowing Your Numbers – Oh the stories your financial statements can tell… if you only knew how to read them!
QuickBooks gives you a financial picture which is just a summary of past events. It’s not enough detail to help you make operating decisions. Knowing and tracking your financial performance can help you avoid disaster by monitoring trends and seeing potential challenges before they occur.
In this interactive program we will give you a more entrepreneurial view which gets into more detail. We will explain where your actions show up on the financials so you can relate what you do to where it “belongs”. With this detail you can take back control of your accounting and translate your financials into something you can actually use to predict future growth.
The 5 Steps to Ethical Problem Solving
We assume everyone has the same definition of ethics as we do, until there is a problem. And then we assume everyone will solve the problem the same way we do. Do you know how to recognize dilemmas and their consequences and teach your workers to make appropriate choices? In this gamified team-based program we create a working model of ethics with protocols for defining ethics, expectations and practical, positive ethical behavior. We will show you how to analyze dilemmas using a 5-step framework that educates and guides your problem-solving processes.
