CATALYST is Rich’s personal brand…in One Word.
He spent 25 years crafting brand identities for some of the world’s most iconic brands - Godiva chocolates, Chips Ahoy! cookies and Planters peanuts to name a few. Rich’s Wharton MBA opened doors to the corporate world; being a risk-taker let him ditch it in 2018.
Now, as a motivational speaker, he’s on a mission to help one million young adults uncover the power of their personal brands…using just One Word…so they can Stand-out Conquer Obstacles, Reach Excellence, in other words, SCORE.
Rich’s cancer - then his wife’s - didn’t break him. It redirected him. Paying-it-forward, not an award or title, now defines his success. Rich’s Survivor buff symbolizes this triumph.
A fun fact Rich likes to share: He attends the Glamour Women of the Year awards every year as a seat filler. One year he sat next to Stefani Germanotta...A.K.A. Lady Gaga.
Life is a game: BRANDING is how you SCORE
Rich brings a unique approach to personal branding. He understands the challenges associated with trying to discover what makes you Stand-out. He has learned that you can Conquer life’s Obstacles and Reach Excellence when you uncover your core value, which he defines as who you are…NOT what you do. Using examples from iconic brands, Rich leverages his marketing expertise to lead an interactive discussion about how discovering your core value and labeling it with ‘One Word’ will challenge you to think differently. Rich captivates audiences when he shares his career and personal struggles, including his battles with cancer. His journey will inspire you to view your identity through a new lens by answering, with ‘One Word’, the question that changed his life: How do you add value? His empowering story of victory will motivate you to craft your personal brand in ‘One Word’ and turn it into your greatest asset!
“We hosted a motivational speaker named Rich Keller today, and he was EXCELLENT!! We already made a date with him for September 2019. Wish we had him in before college essays, but Rome wasn't built in a day. He was engaging, funny and had a message for young people that really hit home. He brings extensive business experience and a wealth of real life experience that makes him relatable and very approachable. His message was very positively received by our students. You will not be disappointed."
